Glass Gra­nulate ST Blasting Agent

Description

Glass Gra­nulate ST is a high-quality fine blasting agent con­sisting of crushed white soda-lime glass in accordance with DIN 8201. The product meets occu­pa­tional safety requi­re­ments according to DGUV Rule 100–500, Chapter 2.24 “Working with Blasting Equipment (Blasting Ope­ra­tions)” and is the­r­efore a safe, sus­tainable, and effi­cient blasting medium for industry and trade. 

As an iron-free blasting agent, Glass Gra­nulate ST con­sists pre­do­mi­nantly of white flat glass. It is cha­rac­te­rized by its angular shape, high abra­si­veness, and simul­ta­neously material-pre­­serving pro­perties. It is ideally suited for pro­cessing stainless steel, alu­minum, non-ferrous metals, and wood and can be used mul­tiple times.

Typical Appli­ca­tions

Glass Gra­nulate ST can be used in mobile and sta­tionary com­pressed air blasting systems. It is ideally suited for material-pre­­serving cleaning, derusting, paint removal, and matting of sen­sitive sur­faces, such as molds, tools, or fine metal parts. Due to its iron-free com­po­sition, it is perfect for work on high-alloy steels, special steels, non-ferrous metals, and wood.
