Normal Corundum Blasting Abrasive
Description
Normal Corundum blasting abrasive is a high-quality, reusable blasting abrasive according to DIN EN ISO 11126–7 N/FA A/G, based on aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃).
It is characterized by its high hardness, iron-free composition, and versatility, making it ideal for metallic and non-metallic surfaces, including stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and wood. Due to its non-metallic structure and high abrasiveness, Normal Corundum is used in a wide variety of blasting processes.

Grit Size
The choice of blasting abrasive grit size determines the surface roughness and cleaning degree. Finer grit sizes produce smooth, matte surfaces, while coarser grit sizes ensure more intensive material removal.
Note: The grit size should be selected according to the application and material. For example, a finer grit size is recommended for stainless steel and aluminum for uniform matting, and a coarser grit size for steel or cast iron for maximum material removal.
Corundum products are available in both metric and FEPA grit sizes. See data sheet
